Easy French Bread

2 Tbsp. yeast
1/2 c. lukewarm water

2 c. hot water
3 Tbsp. sugar
1 Tbsp salt
1/3 c. oil
6 c. flour

*Soften yeast in small bowl with 1/2 c. lukewarm water. In separate bowl combine: hot water, sugar, salt, oil and 3 c. flour. Add yeast to larger bowl. Add last 3 c. of flour (1 cup at a time) until well blended. Cover and stir every 10 min for 1 hour. Split dough in two. Roll each dough out and roll up to shape like French Bread. Make three slices across center of dough. Bake at 375 degrees for 24-25 min.
*Also makes great pizza dough or can be pressed into bread pan to cook.
*Can also substitute wheat flour instead.
